Our Skills Assessment is based on observation, testing and general evaluation. It was designed to make it possible for individuals to receive fair credit for their knowledge and skills. This evaluation is used for:
The evaluator will choose, at his/her discretion, the appropriate number of hours needed to sit for the state exam. A Skills Assessment may last 2 to 4 hours. The fee is based on $50 per hour.
If the cosmetologist decides to pursue a barber's license, s/he must contract for a minimum of 400 hours; the number of hours needed will be determined by the evaluator.
Upon enrollment into the program, a schedule will be made up and modified based on the school's discretion.
