
O'Briens Aveda Institute is approved by the US Department of Education to offer federal financial assistance if the student is eligible and is enrolled as a regular student at least half-time. We offer the following sources of financial aid:
See what you are eligible for in financial aid. Have your tax information available and be sure you know our school code (008658). Go to the FAFSA website to apply for federal aid. The second step will be to apply for a Vermont State Grant at VSAC. Once you know what your grants will be, you can move on to apply for student loans, we'd be happy to help you!
Federal regulations require all Federal Stafford Loan borrowers to complete an entrance counseling session before receiving the first loan disbursements and an exit counseling session at the end of the course.

The first step for financial aid is completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This can be done at www.fafsa.ed.gov, when prompted, our school code is 008658.
Once you have filled out your FAFSA for the 2011/2012 school year, you will get a response within 10 -14 days via e-mail. When you receive this message, please notify our offices so that we may compile an award letter for you.
The next step is to make an appointment with our Admissions Director, Kristina Perren for a tour of the Institute. At the time of your visit, you may also take our entrance exam for admissions and complete all necessary enrollment paperwork.
