Dual Licensing

Are you a licensed cosmetologist wanting a barber's license? Much of the cosmetology curriculum is identical to the barbering curriculum. Depending on your skills, you may be able to contract for as little as 400 hours. Please inquire about coming in for a Skills Assessment at O’Briens Aveda Institute. We will provide you with the training you need to sit for the barbering state board exam.
